Shabbat in Crown Heights is truly one remember!

We headed over to Oholei Torah grand ballroom to join the close to 700 students from around the world who came to celebrate Shabbat together.

We started off with some breakout sessions on various topics in Jewish life and campus life. We then headed over to 770 the main synagogue in crown heights for Kabbalat Shabbat. The service was filled with singing and dancing and you can feel the electricity and spirituality in the room.

We than had Shabbat dinner at the homes of our hosts. After dinner we went for our annual house farbrengen hop. We went from farbrengen to farbrengen truly inspirational.

Shabat morning we has services followed by lunch with all 700+ students. We the had the opportunity to choose from a number of sessions on various topics. From science and Torah, stump the rabbi to election politics for Torah perspective, these sessions were truly enlightening.

When Shabbat came to a close we marked it with a musical havdallah service. We then went home to get ready for the night.
