After what seemed like a flight that lasted for ever we finally touch down in Israel. Excitement running high you can almost touch it.

We deplaned got through customs (all of us ;)) and headed out the airport to meet our Israeli staff!!! We picked up our phones so feel free to call us (keep in mind that we are 7 hours ahead)

Our tour guide is Mark a native from New Orleans seems like an awesome guy. We also have Hagit as our madricha, our designated guard that will be with us for the whole trip Yoel and bus driver Miki..

We loaded the busses had a quick Orientation, had an icebreaker and we are now on the bus headed to our hotel in Sde Boker in the desert it's only a 2 hour drive :)

After many hours of traveling and hanging out at airports we are finally aboard our flight to Tel Aviv.

New freindships are being made and our trip is really getting off to a great start. Everyone is super excited counting down the hours till we touch down in The Holy Land.

As we are sitting in the airport anxiously waiting to board out flight to Israel ;) Students are mingling and getting to know each other everyone is excited to embark on their "Birthright" journey and see what all their friends have been talking about!

We gathered at the gate for a quick orientation and icebraker and got to know each other a bit better.

Seems like we have a well traveled group as we each shared our most exciting adventures up to this point. Birthright is sure to surpass them all!

Oh wait we gotta board the plane! Talk to you later ;)

In preparation of our awesome 10 day trip we held a pre trip orientation. We got a glimpse into the daily schedule, met fellow trip participants and asked all the questions we had in anticipation of the trip.
